Regulatory Notice

Wearing a mask is recommended and in some cases required by the CDC to cut down the possibility of spreading the Coronavirus.  Wearing a mask does not guarantee that you will not catch a virus. The manufacture of the KN95 masks has provided us with an ECM certificate of compliance, laboratory test results showing the masks are up to spec, and an FDA registration certificate. Finally Hair Corporation takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the reports or certificates manufacturers provide. KN95 surgical masks are not a replacement for respirator protective equipment. If you need that type of equipment please consult a healthcare professional. And remember using a mask does not replace other recommended measures to stop the community spread of COVID-19. Please continue to follow CDC guidelines, practice social distancing, wash your hands, and refrain from touching your face. Surgical masks are not considered respirators by OSHA. They are fluid resistant, disposable, protection that creates a physical barrier between the mouth and nose of the wearer and potential contaminants in the immediate environment. They are commonly used in health care settings for the protection of the patient and they are also often used to prevent splashes from contacting the face of the wearer. However, surgical masks do not seal as tightly as respirator masks to the wearer’s face. In certain cases they may not provide a reliable level of protection from inhaling smaller airborne particles or viruses. Finally Hair Corporation has not evaluated the masks for the prevention of specific diseases or infections, the filtering of surgical smoke or plumes, the filtering of specific amounts of viruses or bacteria, or the killing or reduction of the amount of viruses, bacteria or fungi. The masks are not recommended for use in the presence of a high intensity heat source or flammable gas. This product is intended for one-time use by a single user.
